Kid's Book Review: Big Cat, Small Cat by Ami Rubinger

Book: Big Cat, Small Cat
by Ami Rubinger
⭐⭐⭐⭐

Great book for children. Great "Read Along" story. The idea of the children figuring out some of the words on their own is a wonderful idea. It keeps the child involved in the reading and it a great way to make them think instead of just sitting their listening. Illustrations are perfect for small children. Book is deffinately a "Must-Have" for anyone with small ones.

Book Review: I Hate Picture Books By: Timothy Young

Book: I Hate Picture Books!
By: Timothy Young
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

What can I say… WoW!!!! I absolutely LOVED this book. Read this with your youngster, it will bring back memories! All the books popular "way" back pop up in this book. The colors are engaging for the little ones and teaches the kids don't be so stubborn and/or hasty in you decisions. I can't say enough about this book, my 4 yr. old goddaughter loved all the colors as well as the story as a whole. Definitely a Must-Have. This one is HIGHLY suggested!

Book Review: Lester's Dreadful Sweaters By: K.G. Campbell

Book: Lester's Dreadful Sweaters

⭐⭐⭐⭐

Very cute and educational story, Illustrations wonderful. The story is about a boy who receives the most horrendous sweaters from his "cousin" who happens to knit quite rapidly. In the end, he learns to appreciate the sweaters he use to dread. I have to say, I absolutely love the vintage feel of the book. I enjoyed reading this book to my 4yr. old goddaughter and my 11yr. old daughter (who both enjoyed it as well). A must have. Check it out, you too will love it!

Book Review: Cadaver A Bittersweet Love Story By: Jonah Ansell

Book: Cadaver A Bittersweet Love Story

⭐⭐⭐⭐

Love the story, illustrations are beautiful! I found this book under "Children's Fiction". While I do agree the book is for children, I must advise the children should be a bit older. I would say around 9 or 10. Personally, I was comfortable sharing this book with my 11yr. old, who enjoyed the book and chuckled throughout. The illustrations are just a bit graphic. Not too graphic, but a bit graphic. As far as the story… B-E-autiful! I say it's about finding love in an unusual place (after being devastated by your first love) I loved the old guy and the two girls assisting him. Pick it up! You and your son/daughter will love it!

Kids Book Review: Monster Knows Numbers

Book: Monster Knows Numbers
⭐⭐⭐⭐

Great little book for pre-schoolers. The colors are vivid and the book is very engaging. Monster Knows Numbers is a book to read with a pre-schooler weather or not in school yet. Awesome book for your little one to begin even before starting school. Interesting book for either boy or girl. I shared this book with my four year old goddaughter who actually wanted to read it on her own. My nephew also enjoyed the book, although not in school yet. Monster Knoes Numbers got him counting properly. He, too, loved the monster and is continuously asking to count with Monster. This book comes highly suggested. Pick it up and start counting with your little one!

Welcome to my new (& very first) Blog!

Hello All!
Welcome to my brand new blog. I have been wanting to write my book for some time. My book is about a teen mom all grown up. Although I already have a outline set up, I figured I should do some research of other teen moms. While also doing research of teen moms I had the idea of starting a blog for my kids. Two teens and a tween. I have my very young goddaughter a lot of the time and assist in her raising. (which is where the "kid" part of my blog comes in!) So here I am! When I started kicking this idea around, I started reading up on raising kids now-a-days. Of course I have my own experience, which is vast, considering my own kids (none of which were insane enough to make the "oops!" I did by becoming a teen parent) took me on this "roller coaster" ride for some time, but I also wanted to do research on other's ideas on how they go about raising their kids. I want to do my part in assisting any parents needing a little assistance in parenting. I also want a place for kids, teens and tweens to go to get some advise in something serious or light hearted. So I hope I do well at this blog and will look forward to any advise or comments back.

Thanks for visiting and I hope you will return! Here Goes...........
